As CEO of Rocket Group, Hiram Pérez is passionate about leveraging innovative technologies and approaches to deliver transformative educational experiences.

In 2004, Hiram founded Rocket Learning to deliver high-quality after-school remedial services using project-based learning approaches. During its 10 year history, the company has served more than 250,000 students in 16 states. With a strong track record of helping its students achieve very significant academic gains, it has become the leading national provider in the industry.

Under Hiram’s leadership, the company has leveraged its innovative pedagogical methods and mission-driven culture to create and grow a diversified family of education companies now called Rocket Group. Its mission is to transform the lives of students by harnessing the power of research and technology. Its educational technology division combines the latest educational practices with advanced technology to develop highly-personalized learning experiences. Its early childhood division operates schools that help young learners get ready to thrive in the most demanding academic environments. Its school services division helps educators transform their classrooms through intervention and training services

Prior to founding Rocket Learning, Hiram spent eight years as a management consultant for Accenture. At Accenture, Hiram advised large international organizations on the formulation of their business strategies and the implementation of their transformation and reengineering initiatives.

Hiram holds master's degrees in business administration and education from Stanford University where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, which is the highest academic distinction.  He also holds a master’s degree in operations research (applied math) from Cornell University, and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Penn State University.
